As many of you know my Aunt Darlene recently passed away after battling heart problems for nearly three decades. When she died she was only 58. I have buried three grandparents, but man, this was a really tough one.
You had to know Aunt Darlene. She was the 'life of the party' at family functions when i was little. She had an infectious smile and people just wanted to be near her.
I was so glad we got to see her in the hospital in London the day before she went under with morphine. She told us she was ready to go and when i asked her what she was looking forward to most, she said seeing Jesus, as her eyes lit up.
Don't take your loved ones forgranted. Treat them well. Focus on their good qualities. You really never know when you could lose a brother, a sister, a parent, a good friend. Death is no respector of persons.
